Privacy & Financial Policies

Financial Policy

We treat supporters’ funds with careful and prayerful stewardship. Your donations are used wisely for the utmost benefit of the people and projects with whom we partner.

95% of funds are donated directly benefit our Glocal partners.

5% of funds are allocated to cover administration and promotion costs.

Glocal is the mission, development, and justice program of New Vine Church. Donations are not tax deductible. Whilst New Vine is a recognized member of the ACNC, it is not a deductible gift recipient (DGR).

Glocal allows you, the supporter, to make a difference in an abundance of areas. Through Glocal, you are not just supporting one missionary, or one cause; united with others you support many.

New Vine Church retains control over the donated funds. In the event that a ministry area (donation bucket) is fully funded or donations are received without reference to a specific ministry area, the donated funds will be allocated to Glocal’s general fund for distribution to areas of most need.

Funds are remitted to partners as per the budget, which is set by the Glocal Team, and approved by New Vine’s Lead Team.

The management of Glocal finances is included in New Vine’s annual financial report, which is externally and professionally audited. As an incorporated charity, this audited report is submitted to Australian Charities (ACNC), the members of New Vine Church and the NSW Baptist denomination.
