Peter & Esther run Hohidiai, a team devoted to helping people physically, emotionally and spiritually—especially the poor and marginalised.

The Hohidiai medical clinic in North Maluku, Indonesia provides rehabilitation for patients needing long-term medical care.

With a special focus on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and leprosy patients, the team doesn’t just provide medical support, but also focuses on educating the local community regarding these diseases.

“2020 and the years following saw us become one of the primary COVID-19 treatment centres in the area. When able, we conduct mobile clinics to remote parts of the province—and we’re in the early stages of establishing a drug rehabilitation program.”

The team also partners with Hohidiai school to provide top quality education for children, teaching them the values they need to become God-fearing leaders of the next generation.
