Lysander Lawrence

Lysander works in public high schools in the Newcastle region, teaching SRE Scripture to older kids who are seeking answers to their questions about faith.

Most people have heard of Scripture teaching in primary schools—but the same opportunity exists for local high schools as well!

For many young people, SRE is their first opportunity to explore, question and better understand the teaching of Jesus for themselves.

In addition to SRE, Lysander occasionally coordinates teams traveling for short-term mission work. A team of high school boys from New Vine is preparing to head to Townsville and Palm Island in July 2023.
